Jackson Industries "Pigtails" are suitable for most cylinder filling applications.
All of our pigtails are of fluoropolymer constructed assemblies are manufactured in strict accordance with the requirements of CGA E-9 and are subject to rigorous testing to one-and-a-half times maximum working pressure with final independent inspection before shipment.
All of our oxygen assemblies are cleaned per CGA cleaning guideline G-4.1 with state-of-the-art technology that avoids use of use of ozone depleting solvents.
All pigtail assemblies for oxygen service are cleaned, capped and bagged for immediate use.
Our Standard 1/4" diameter Pigtail is available in 3,000 psi,3,500 psi or 4,500 psi versions with brass or stainless steel fittings.
Our zero permeation 1/4" diameter Pigtail is suitable for hydrogen and helium use that will resist hydrogen embrittlement and stress cracking if installed correctly.
Manufactured from heavy weight T316L stainless steel and two layers of unique T321 stainless steel braid wire offers zero permeation and long term durability and strength.
An Extra Pressure Pigtail is also available in diameters of 1/4" to 1/2" with pressures up to 6,000 psi manufactured from multiple layers of special braid over a tube of TeflonŽ.
Our Extra Pressure Tube Trailer Hose for high pressure helium transfers are available in 1/2" diameter stainless steel braided hose with working pressures of 3,900 psi and in Hoses of TeflonŽ of 6,000 psi MWP.
Our Saf-T-LeadŽ (formerly known as Whipcheck II) is a patented design that eliminates the dangers associated with a ruptured hose.
The hose has been designed with a tightly wound high tensile stainless steel wire spiral guard that is permanently attached into the fitting by a patented process.
The process ensures the guard is inseparable from the assembly. The spiral guard controls the hose if ruptured, or separated by over-pressurization or falling cylinders.
In addition, the guard makes it virtually impossible to kink or crush the assembly.
